Livestock Agriculture Tour

Day 1- Tel Aviv

 Arrival to Ben Gurion airport, assistance through the custom service. Meet guide and driver and transfer to your hotel in Tel-Aviv. Tour in Jaffa visit the church of St. Peter, sightseeing in Tel Aviv the white city see the preservation of buildings of the Bauhaus architecture. Check-in at hotel and dinner.  Overnight: Tel Aviv

Day 2 - R & D

 After breakfast, we will dedicate the day to agriculture tours starting with a visit at Beit Dagan the research center of Israel agriculture. The organization is responsible for plant sciences, animal science and plant protection, soil, water and environmental sciences. Among the organization areas of special expertise are: irrigation using effluent and saline water, crop cultivation in protected environments, minimization of produce losses through use of latest pest control and post-harvest storage methods. Breeding and development of new strains of crops and domestic animals better suited to the adverse conditions which already exist in many parts of the world and which are likely to become even more prevalent in the future. After the tour we drive to Kibbutz Hafez Haim visit the artificial insemination and breeding laboratory –SION. Then we continue to Beer Tuvia where we visit a Robotic Cowshed. Continue to our hotel in Jerusalem for check-in and dinner.

Day 3 - Jerusalem

 After breakfast, drive to Mt. of Olives to view the city; walk to the Church of all Nations, Garden of Gethsemane, then enter the Old City see the Wailing Wall and walk along the Via Dolorosa Stations of the Cross, to the church of the Holy Sepulcher. Continue to Mt. Zion visit the Room of the Last Supper, King David's Tomb and Dormizion Church, tour at the Jewish Quarter. Sightseeing through the western city to see the Menorah at the Israeli Parliament. Back to hotel for dinner.

 Overnight: Jerusalem

Day 4 - Dead Sea

 After breakfast, get an early start this morning driving down to the Dead Sea our first stop at Qumran  where the Dead Sea Scrolls, among which are the oldest biblical books ever found, were discovered. The dining hall, ritual bath and other finds recall the Essenes, who sought purity in the desert. Continue to visit Kibbutz Kalia to see the date's plantation, and visit the cowshed. Then we will have time to a special experience at the Dead Sea with a relaxing float in the healthful waters  Back to our hotel in Jerusalem for dinner.

 Overnight: Jerusalem

Day 5 - Departure

 After breakfast, check-out from the hotel. Transfer to airport for your departure flight.
