Complete Holy Land Tour Jordan and Israel (Catholic Tour)

Day 1 – date: Amman

 Arrival Queen Alia International airport. Meet & assist, transfer to Amman airport hotel for dinner and overnight.

Overnight: Amman

Day 2 - Amman – Nazareth    

 After breakfast, check-out and leave the hotel. Drive to the Sheikh Hussain Jordan-Israel border. Drive to Nazareth visit - the Basilica of the Annunciation and the Orthodox Greek Church, where St. Gabriel appeared and the Synagogue Church, visit the house of Joseph and Mary and Josephs work shop. Cana - site of the fist miracle at the wedding celebration continue to our hotel in Nazareth for check-in and dinner. Mass at Cana. Lunch en-route at restaurant. Dinner at hotel.

Overnight: Nazareth

Day 3 – Nazareth

 After breakfast, drive to Mt. Tabor the site of transfiguration – Mass at Mt. Tabor.  Drive through the landscapes of Galilee to the Sea of Galilee. Visit Capernaum, Tabgha - the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish and the expressive Church of the Beatitudes and at Mensa Christi. We make a brief halt at St. Peter's house, the Church of Primacy of Peter. Visit the site of Yardenit. St. Peter's fish lunch. Head for a boat ride in a replica of a Galilean fishing boat from the time of Jesus. Return to the hotel for dinner.

Overnight: Nazareth

Day 4 – Nazareth-Bethlehem

 After breakfast, check-out and leave the hotel. Drive to Haifa, view the Persian Gardens and Baha'i Shrine.  Lunch en route at restaurant. Visit at the Elijah cave at Stella Maris and then we continue to Muhraqa. Visit Megiddo – site of the Armageddon. Continue to Caesarea; view the Roman Theatre and the Aqueduct. Drive to Jaffa, see the house of Simon the Tanner and visit St. Peter's Church. Lunch en-route at restaurant. Mass at Stella Maris.  Drive to Bethlehem, for check-in and dinner at the hotel.

Overnight: Bethlehem

Day 5 – Bethlehem

 After breakfast, we tour Jerusalem  drive to Mt Zion with the upper room and King David's Tomb. We also visit the church of St. Peter Gallicantum and the Church of Dormizion. Visit Ein Karem – birth place of John the Baptist. Tour in Bethlehem visit the Church of Nativity and the Milk Grotto, Manger Square and the Shepherds Field. Visit Bethany, site of the Tomb of Lazarus. Return to the hotel for dinner. Lunch en-route at a restaurant. Mass at St. Peter Gallicantum. Situation permits, visit at Rachel's Tomb. Dinner at the hotel.

Overnight: Bethlehem 

Day 6 – Bethlehem

 After breakfast we drive to   the ancient city of Jericho, believed to be the oldest city on earth, with cable car climb to Mt. Quarantal, where Jesus spent 40 days when Satan tried to tempt him. It is also the place where Jesus stopped on his way to Jerusalem, on the eve of the Passover and where Jesus cured the blind man. See the Sycamore Tree. Descend to the Dead Sea the lowest point on earth (400 m. below sea level), at a private beach, we will have a unique experience of floating on the salty water. The high concentrations of calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, bromine, iodine, and many other minerals found in the dense water makes it a natural source of health and beauty, providing cures for many human ailments. Back to Bethlehem for dinner and overnight. Lunch en-route at a restaurant and festive distribution of Pilgrim Certificates (signed by the Israeli Minister of Tourism and by the Mayor of Jerusalem) and Badges. Mass at Jericho. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 7 – Bethlehem

 After breakfast,  visit the Mt of Olives with the Church of Ascension, the Pater Noster Church. Along the Sunday Palm Tree Road, by foot to the Gethsemane Gardens, visit the Church of All Nations. Visit the Dominus Flevit Church. Enter the Old City to begin exploring the wonders of Jerusalem. View the Temple Mount and the Western Wall. Walk along the Via Dolorosa, where Jesus carried His Cross. Carry a wooden Cross – try to experience a bit of what Christ went through, while walking the Via Dolorosa. Pass by the Ecce Homo Arch – "Behold the man" they cried out, pointing at Jesus suffering while carrying the Cross. Continue to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, where Christ was crucified and buried – see the place of the Golgatha, where the 3 crosses stood, a good thief and a bad thief to each side of Jesus, where Jesus was taken down from the Cross and HIS body was washed and buried. See the Tomb Stone of Jesus, where HE was buried and from where HE re-erected. Pass by the KNESSET – Israel's Parliament and view the MENORAH, the symbol of The State of Israel. Return to hotel dinner and overnight. Lunch en-route at restaurant. Mass at the Holy Sepulchre.

Overnight: Bethlehem

Day 8 – Bethlehem – Departure

 After breakfast, drive to Allenby Bridge and cross the border to Jordan. Meet & assist and then transfer to  Mt. Nebo for a visit and Mass, lunch and visit Madaba. Continue to Queen Alia International airport for departure flight.
