Classic Israel tour with Jordan

Day 2


Neveh Zedek,  The "White City", lunch along Rothschild Boulevard where the largest collection of Bauhaus architecture in the world. Continue to Jaffa, one of the world’s oldest port cities, and visit the beautifully preserved Al Mahmoudiya Mosqueand the Ilana Gur museum. evening, enjoy a welcome reception and dinner at hotel

Overnight:   TEL AVIV

Day 3


Head north to Caesarea, an important city in ancient times with wonderfully restored Roman, Byzantine and Crusader-era sites and explore the excavations. Continue to Haifa, Israel’s largest port, and ascend to the summit of Mount Carmel. Visit the studio and home of the expressionist painter, Emmanuel Mane-Katz, which is now a museum. Then tour the beautiful Bahai Gardens, with its gilded dome that marks it as the world center for the Bahai faith. Continue to Acre. The city is a meeting place for East and West, new and old, beauty and ruins, all adding to its uniqueness. The walls, fortresses and strongholds of the city bear the marks of many nations that left impressive buildings behind them, beautifying Acre to this day. Thanks to these buildings, UNESCO declared Acre a World Heritage Site in 2001.

Day 4


Begin the day at Safed, the center of Jewish mysticism and home to ancient synagogues and an artists’ colony. After lunch, visit the Mount of Beatitudes, known as the site of the Sermon on the Mount. Then travel to Capernaum, the center of Jesus’ ministry, where a modern church has been built over the remains of what is believed to be the house of Saint Peter. Explore Tabgha where, according to the Bible, Jesus miraculously multiplied two fish and five loaves of bread to feed the crowds. Enjoy a leisurely boat ride on the Sea of Galilee.

Day 5


In the morning, we will proceed to the border at Sheikh Hussein Bridge and enter Jordan. We will visit the ancient city of Jerash, which boasts an unbroken chain of human occupation dating back more than 6,500 years. Continue to Amman, the capital of Jordan, a fascinating city of contrasts – a unique blend of old and new, ideally situated on a hilly area between the desert and the fertile Jordan Valley.

Day 6


Continue to visit Petra, the famous rock city, is located in the south of Jordan, and was created by the Nabataea Arabs. Since 1985 Petra belongs to the World Heritage Sites and since 2007 it is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. The Nabataea’s settled here more than 2000 years ago and carved temples, tombs and houses in the red rose sandstone. After the tour, transfer to Allenby crossing, and cross back to Israel.

Day 7


Day with special activities at the Dead Sea area:

  • Qumran Caves – Qumran area exposed structures from different periods, but most of the findings are from the end of the Second Temple and the Bar - Kochba.
  • Masada – significant monument from the First Jewish-Roman War. Ascend the mount via cable car to visit the excavations. Descend via cable car.
  • Mineral Beach – A unique complex with a natural beach, wood pergola covered pools, hot sulfur pools with high mineral concentration and a freshwater pool. At the water line there is a pool of natural black mud and along the beach there are shade shelters with tanning beds.
  • Bedouin dinner and experience with camel ride, meeting with Bedouin sheikh that will tall special legends from the Bedouin tradition and explain about their specie culture. Continue with Bedouin dinner on a Bedouin tent! Late drive back to Jerusalem

Day 8


Stop at Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the city and visit the Church of All Nations, with its beautiful view of the Old City of Jerusalem, and make a welcome blessing.

Start the morning by exploring Jerusalem’s Old City, stopping first at the Temple Mount. Admire the brilliantly golden Dome of the Rock and see the Western Wall. After lunch at a local restaurant in the Old City walk along the Via Dolorosa—the Way of the Cross, visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Continue to King David’s Tomb and the Room of the Last Supper on Mount Zion.

Night tour to the amazing "night spectacular show. The walls of the Tower of David Citadel serve as a stage for a nightly a celebration of sight and sound. Amidst the archaeological remains scattered about the Citadel’s courtyard, set to the sound of pulsing original music, the story of Jerusalem unfolds through breathtakingly larger-than-life virtual  reality images.

Overnight:   JERUSALEM

Day 9


Proceed to Bethlehem  to visit the Church of the Nativity and Shepherd's Field.  After the tour, special activity at Machne Yehuda market- each person will get "tasting card" with 8 stations inside the market that included various tasting: spices, halva, fresh health juice, cheese, ethnic breads, organic coffee, borekas, olive oil and more…  After free tour at the market, we will go to a short cooking course in a special gallery inside the market with Israeli chef. After the tour and lunch- visit Israel Museum and the shrine of the book.

Evening- transfer to the airport for flight back
